The Past Weekend

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to update my blog on this past weekend because there was SO much that happened I just don't want to forget!

So we will start with Thursday, because that day was LEEEgit too. So, I ran 6 miles. That was the first great thing. It felt so good, and it was definitely a solid run. Then Mal came to Houghton! :) Her super sweet mom drove her all the way here, and she hung out with me for the day. I played softball on the quad for the first time this year, and enjoyed the Gospel Choir concert that night. Friday Mal went home :( I lifeguarded and worked a lot. I also spent a lot of time with my dear friend Anna. I call her babe. It's a long story that I can tell you some time if you want to know. I love her though. She means a lot to me. Saturday, Anna and I woke up at 10 and went to Women of Faith in out pjs, and listened to President Mullen. She was so encouraging, and listening to her story of her journey with God was so inspiring. Shes getting married in June, and I'm so excited for her! CONGRATS President Mullen. :) There after, Anna and I headed to lunch, and then I had to lifeguard yet again. After that I helped out at the ACO(Allegany County Outreach) year end party. I just became the Match Maker for the club recently, and I am THRILLED to get involved! After the party, I headed back to Gillette and worked on my paper that was due today, and finished it! It was my Essay #5 for WILA- THE LAST ESSAY! :) It is called "Christian Ministries and their Vision for Teens". I am really passionate about that topic in general, and I really enjoyed working on the paper. Then I went to dinner. Then I went looking for a place to read my Bible, and God actually led me to the Chapel, where there was this event called Abandoned Devotion. It was really awesome. Worship and scripture. Food for my soul :) Then went running, and worked out the arms a little bit. After THAT, I went roller blading up at the gym. It was a blast! To see a bunch of people blading around crazily, and falling, and laughing. It was the best. Sunday morning started all too early. Women's Choir was asked to sing at Yorkshire Free Methodist church, and we left at 9:15. YIKES. But it was a blessing. I've been starting to realize how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE choral music. I just do. SO much. I'm hoping to be in College Choir some day. The rest of my Sunday was filled with talking with friends, practicing for juries, worshiping the almighty God, watching my favorite movie ever- Remember the Titians, and talking to Josh, which was a perfect ending to my day. :)

So, sorry for the long and extended paragraph...haha. I should probably get work done now!

Will write more later!
PEACE.
