Sunday's Best!

Happy Sunday :) I hope this finds you in good health and rest. So much has gone on lately that I just have SO much to tell you! Let me start by saying GOD IS GOOD! Amen? I love how He works, the plans He has for me, but above all of that, I LOVE HIM.

This past week has been pretty great to be honest. Most people have been stressed and running around like crazy, but not me (for once). Monday-Wednesday was the "home-stretch" for our classes. Crazy, but oh how GOOD. I worked on and finished my last listening project for Diction class. WHAT a relief. I did like wise for my last composition project for theory. I turned in needed forms and such, spent time with friends, and enjoyed the freedom of having no classes. Wednesday I had my music theory final in class, which was...challenging. I went for a run that was pretty painful because I was wicked sore, but it was the perfect time of day. So nice. Thursday was the kick off for finals! I had Arel Skills at 1:30, so I got to sleep in which was sweet as pie. The exam was alright, but again, challenging. I feel like I could have done better. There after, I rushed to fill out my jury sheets and turn them in on time, gathered my things, and headed to the town of Olean with my girl friend Janell. The night previous, I was invited to the Sean Kingston concert by her and another one of our friends Karrie. I was JUICED. We hung out at Janell's house, and ate a yum-o dinner, and preceded to the concert. About the concert...it was fun, don't get me wrong. It was a blast, and I'm so glad I went. The music on the other hand...was pretty poor. Especially the opening band. They were HORRID. :/ Sean Kingston was better, but there were a lot of technical difficulties...and I'm pretty picky when it comes to music, and I just think the whole performance was poor. Anyways, it was fun, and a few of us got REAL close to the from at one point, and Sean Kingston was right in front of us. Heres a couple pictures.

Friday 8AM came too soon, where my music theory class and I performed our comp projects, and then I swiftly went back to my room to catch a couple more z's. I woke up and went to lunch, and then a bunch of my friends and I went to Wiskoy Falls- a place close by that has a bunch of different falls throughout it, and soft bedrock to walk on. We all dipped our feet in, played in the water, and took pictures :)

That's one of my favorite places to go around here. I worked for the last time this semester that night, and studied. Then I studied some more, and went to bed. Saturday morning I had my Diction final 8-10, which went well. Probably the best yet. I had my Voice Jury that night as well, and that went fantastic. :) Last one. We had fun, and I dressed up and did my hair. Then I enjoyed some good food down at Big Als :0 mmm. Then me and some of my girls painted our nails and talked. I love that stuff. I went to bed after that.

This morning was an early one for me. I sang at Houghton Wesleyan, and we had to be there at...7:40!!!!!!!!! WOOOOW buddy. It wasn't so bad though. Joshua David picked me up, and kindly came to the 1st service with me. Both services went well. I sang with the worship team, and they played with me for the special music song. "I Am Not Alone" by Natalie Grant. Please, if not for you, for me, look this song up. It will change your life. :D

Now I am enjoying the warn breeze through my window and listening to music from Pandora Radio. Starfield station. Love it.

Check it:

1 Corinthians 15:52-58 (MSG)

"On signal from that trumpet from heaven, the dead will be up and out of their graves, beyond the reach of death, never to die again. At the same moment and in the same way, we’ll all be changed.53 In the resurrection scheme of things, this has to happen: everything perishable taken off the shelves and replaced by the imperishable, this mortal replaced by the immortal.

54 Then the saying will come true:
Death swallowed by triumphant Life!

55 Who got the last word, oh, Death?
Oh, Death, who’s afraid of you now?56 It was sin that made death so frightening and law-code guilt that gave sin its leverage, its destructive power.57 But now in a single victorious stroke of Life, all three—sin, guilt, death—are gone, the gift of our Master, Jesus Christ. Thank God!

58 With all this going for us, my dear, dear friends, stand your ground. And don’t hold back. Throw yourselves into the work of the Master, confident that nothing you do for him is a waste of time or effort."

:) GOD IS GOOD. ALL THE TIME.

I'm going to attend to my hungry-growling tummy and go eat some lunch! Check in later.
